Professional Services Agreement  (PSA)

JJH Construction partners up with the best Architects, Engineers and Designers in San Diego in order to provide in-house design services the client's project needs. This Professional Services Agreement runs in parallel with our Pre-Construction due diligence and estimating to ensure the design does not go over the client's budget.

Surprisingly, many projects end up facing an early budgetary constraint when the creative design creates a $2.5 Million project for a $1 Million budget. By the time that is discovered,  it is too late and the time and money has already been spent. The PSA helps us to eliminate the guesswork from a Construction project. PSA involves, but not limited to, the following services:

• digging out a footing to check for compatibility
• checking and mapping electrical wiring
• defining each line item trade to have a clear scope of work for subcontractors
• preconstruction calendars and critical path Gantt charts
• costing of finishes
• working with clients to educate them on the difference in prices for the same designs on the same projects (for example why is one cabinet bid $7500 and the other $14500?)
• defining construction terms
• defining the level of customer involvement
• defining the levels of service
• defining what is included and what is excluded throughout the project

The above Pre-Construction services are essential to know whether this project is feasible to start construction.
